Build, don't overfill
What it is

Filler isn't about adding volume. It's about restoring structure.

Dermal filler — almost always hyaluronic acid (HA), the same substance your body produces naturally — restores volume lost to aging, accentuates features that were always there, or rebalances proportions. Brands you'll hear named: Juvéderm, Restylane, RHA. They're more similar than different; what matters is who's injecting.

The mistake most clinics make is treating filler as a per-syringe sales product. More filler = more revenue. We reject that framing. Filler done well is architectural — small amounts at the right structural points create dramatic-looking results. Filler done badly is volume in the wrong places, and you've seen it on people's faces walking down the street.

We map first. We start conservatively. We build over visits. The patients who get compliments are the ones nobody can quite tell what they had done.

Your visit

How the appointment actually goes.

Four steps, about an hour for a first visit. The mapping conversation is often the most important part.

— 01

Facial mapping

We look at your face from all angles, discuss what you want, and propose a plan. You see the plan before any product comes out.

~25 min
— 02

Topical numbing

Numbing cream for 15–20 minutes. HA filler products also contain lidocaine, which adds to comfort during the injection.

~15 min
— 03

Injection & shaping

Series of micro-injections using needle or cannula depending on the area. We pause, assess, and adjust as we go.

~20 min
— 04

Two-week follow-up

Filler fully settles in 10–14 days. Your follow-up is included — if anything needs adding or balancing, we do it then.

Pricing

Priced by syringe. Honestly.

HA filler is priced per syringe (1cc). Most patients start with 1–2 syringes per visit depending on goals and anatomy. We provide a written quote at consultation, before any treatment.

Standard pricing
$650–$950/cc
Per syringe · Juvéderm, Restylane, RHA
Typical first visit: $650–$1,900
Most patients start with 1–2 syringes depending on areas treated and goals. We build over visits rather than maximize per visit.
Lip filler (1cc)$650–$850
Cheek filler (1cc per side)$750–$950
Jawline filler (2cc typical)$1,400–$1,800
Chin filler (1–2cc)$700–$1,800
Tear trough (1cc)$850–$950
Two-week follow-upIncluded
A note on per-syringe pricing. Watch for clinics that advertise "$399 lip filler" without specifying the volume. That's almost always a partial syringe, sometimes diluted product, and rarely a sustainable price point. Reputable clinics price by full syringe of identified, FDA-approved product. Ask what brand, what dose, who's injecting.
Is it right for you?

Filler is — and isn't — for everyone.

We turn down patients regularly. Here's the framework.

A good fit

You're likely a good candidate if…

  • You're 25+ with realistic expectations
  • You have specific concerns: volume loss, lip shape, jawline definition
  • You're open to building results over visits rather than maximizing one session
  • You want subtle, natural-looking improvement
  • You're willing to maintain (every 9–18 months depending on area)
× Not a fit

We'll recommend against filler if…

  • You're pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have active skin infection or autoimmune skin conditions
  • You want a dramatic transformation — that's not what filler does well
  • Your concerns would be better addressed by Botox, laser, or skin care
  • You're chasing a specific celebrity or influencer look — bring inspiration, but we'll be honest if it's wrong for your face
  • You've had filler complications elsewhere — we may recommend dissolving first
★★★★★

"I'd been quoted for a full face of filler at three other places. Bronx Med Spa told me I needed cheek and chin — that was it. They were right. I've never had someone in this industry talk me out of buying things."

Questions

Filler, without the spin.

The questions we get most. Bring anything else to your consultation.

How much does lip filler cost in the Bronx? +
Our lip filler pricing is $650–$850 per syringe (1cc). Most patients use 1 syringe for their first visit. We provide written quotes at consultation. Be wary of pricing below $500/syringe — it usually indicates partial syringes, diluted product, or non-FDA-approved sources.
How long does filler last? +
It depends on the product and the area. Lip filler typically lasts 9–12 months. Cheek filler 12–18 months. Jawline filler can last 12–24 months. Areas with more movement (lips, around the mouth) break down filler faster than static areas (cheeks, temples).
Will it look obvious? +
Not the way we dose. The whole point of conservative, anatomical filler is that nobody can tell. If it looks obvious, the clinic either overdosed or placed product in the wrong layers. We err on the side of less and build up — you can always add, you can't easily reverse overfilling without dissolving first.
What's the difference between Juvéderm, Restylane, and RHA? +
All three are HA-based. Each has multiple products formulated for different areas — some are softer for lips, some firmer for cheek or jawline structure. We select the product based on the area and your tissue, not based on what's on promotion. The brand matters less than the product within the brand.
Can filler be dissolved? +
Yes — HA filler is reversible with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. We use this when filler migrates, when patients are unhappy with results from another clinic, or when complications arise. It's one of the reasons HA filler is preferred over permanent fillers (which we don't use).
Does filler hurt? +
Most patients describe it as a moderate pinch. Numbing cream is standard. HA filler products also contain lidocaine, which kicks in seconds after the first injection. Lips are the most sensitive area; cheeks and jawline are typically much more comfortable.
How long is the recovery? +
Most patients resume normal activity immediately. Some bruising and swelling is expected, particularly in lips, and typically resolves in 2–5 days. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and aspirin/ibuprofen for 24–48 hours after treatment to minimize bruising.
Can I combine filler with Botox? +
Yes — and many patients do. Botox treats lines from muscle movement; filler restores volume and structure. They address different problems and work well together. We typically space treatments by two weeks when combining.
